Decked started with a couple of friends, a tiny workshop, and boards that we shaped and tested ourselves. No storefront, just word of mouth and sessions at the local park.

We picked up momentum as more skaters started showing up, not just to buy gear but to hang out. That energy turned Decked into more than a side hustle, it became a hub.

We scraped together enough to open our first small space. It wasn’t fancy — walls lined with decks, wheels stacked in milk crates, but it was ours, and it mattered to the community.

By now, Decked gear was hitting new spots across the country. We were still shipping out of the back room, but our boards were riding pools, parks, and streets far beyond our city.

We started focusing on younger skaters just getting into it. Complete setups, team sponsorships, and local contests helped bring fresh faces into the scene.

Fifteen years later, Decked is still rooted in the same skate culture that started it all. We’ve grown, but the mission hasn’t changed: keep the gear solid, keep it real, and keep skaters rolling.
